Most Burning Question in Change Management

by Libby Marshall
(Australia)

Two areas - Leadership and Implementation

(1) Leadership

Why do people who are leading change demonstrate poor leadership skills?

In my experience they are too busy playing politics with senior management rather than leading.

Leadership in change to me means being brave and asking the hard questions and leading solutions.

(2) Implementation

Many people forget the basics when implementing a plan.

Often the plan is forgotten and everyone goes back to adhoc behaviours.

Trust in the plan and follow it. Yes, it may need to be tweaked, but resist urges to become reactive.
